Inside the box was lots of electronic components like a circuit board electric motors and the parts to make the body of the robot which felt like decent strength plastic and wasn’t flimsy, also inside was an informative and easy to understand manual.You can have fun planning your robots route to face exciting challenges with your friends, to look for metals with a magnet and to perform many other amazing activities. You can use the microphone to command it by simply clapping your hands, while the push-button panel on the robot’s back can be used to program its route. With lots of electronic components and a free app, Mio Robot will allow you to discover the fun worlds of robotics and electronics.

There’s 2 small cables for the microphone and led eyes that come out of the head, both are the same colour. Other offline functions include Follow Me/Escape using infrared sensors to follow hand motions and also a clapping mode – yes! The inability to turn left or right without it spinning completely around (without touching forward or back at precisely the right time) is slightly annoying on the app based play. Thanks to two infrared sensors situated on its belly, the robot detects how close an object is and moves towards or away from it depending on its distance. What's more, thanks to the rich collection of interchangeable components included in the set, you can transform the robot as you please.
