Blender Test - We cranked up a blender on high 2-3 feet away. And though I realize that most people aren’t blending pitchers of Margaritas or Fruit Smoothies while on calls, this is a great noise challenge for any headset. Or, that headset could end up in a box that will find its way to a closet or storeroom. Worse yet, it might just get tossed out in the trash. Perish the thought. You’d never do that because you’re eco responsible, right?

When you wear one of these headsets for a period of time, you can feel the hard plastic from the ear speaker housing pressing against the ear. This is not only uncomfortable for short periods of time, but imagine the discomfort if worn all day? All in all, I’d say that this is a pretty solid headset from the standpoint of audio quality, and noise reduction. And by the way, both of these things are important if you want to sound professional on your calls.

For those who use different applications such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom and other UC platforms, then the UC version would be a good choice.

The Jabra Evolve2 30 comes with a built-in busy light. When you go live on a call, the busy lamp turns on to alert those around you that you’re on a call, and not to be disturbed. This is a nice feature that helps to minimize interruptions, as well as helps you to get more done during your work day. Headset Software With all the audio and video meetings going on these days, having a headset to use on those meetings isn’t really optional any longer. The majority of meetings take place using computer applications such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, RingCentral and others. De Evolve2 modellen met Microsoft Teams-certificering ondersteunen Microsoft Teams als een plug-and-play-ervaring. De plug-and-play-ervaring biedt de volgende voordelen: Last, and certainly not least, no headset comfort conversation would be complete without some mention of the weight of the headset. The mono version weighs just 3.2 ounces, and the duo model weighs only 4.4.This is a careful balancing act that requires enough pressure to keep the headset in place, but not so much pressure that creates headaches or discomfort. As far as voice audio quality is concerned, the Evolve2 30 did a good job. The voice quality was good and professional for sure. After all, this is a Jabra headset, and I can’t think of a headset they make that sounds poor. The truth is, they make good quality headsets, and the Evolve2 30 isn’t an exception. Besides these two different variants, you also have the choice between USB A or USB C connectivity. A lot of computers today are coming with USB C ports, but there are still a lot of computers using USB A. So whichever you use, there’s an Evolve2 30 connection that’s right for your situation. Comfort Answer / End (this is a feature that allows you to take and end calls from the headset rather than from the computer within an application. The Evolve2 30 comes with a nice carry case so you can take it with you on the go which keeps it protected, which is nice. It gives you a busy light so you can minimize interruptions, and you can answer and end calls right from the headset when using applications such as Avaya, Cisco, Unify, RingCentral, Alcatel-Lucent, Microsoft Teams, Google, 8X8, Dialpad, Mitel and more. Being able to access calls right from the headset rather than from the computer is a nice bonus.

By headset standards, these are both very lightweight, and when it comes to comfort, weight plays an important role. Many headsets we’ve reviewed weigh 6 ounces, and even as much as 10 ounces. So when you stop to compare, it’s easy to see that the Evolve2 30 was designed with comfort in mind. Sound quality - 1 star, 5 stars, or something in between? Most wired USB headsets come with an inline controller. On that controller are buttons that allow you to access certain features like volume, mute and answering calls. The Jabra Evolve2 30 has these same features, but to access them, they’re located on the headset rather than midway down the cord like other headsets. Here are the features that you can access on the Evolve2 30: When you’re working flexibly, you need to know you can be heard clearly wherever you are. The advanced 2-microphone audio system captures your voice while simultaneously analyzing and reducing the noise around you, meeting Microsoft Open Office requirements. The perfect way to get your point across and ensure even the smallest nuance isn’t lost in translation. With professional-grade 28mm speakers and an advanced digital chipset, the Evolve2 30 delivers exceptional audio quality. So, whether you’re taking an important call or listening to music while you work, you can enjoy great sound that’s engineered for modern working.

Found what you are looking for?

The first thing that makes this headset comfortable is its design. The Jabra Engineers designed this headset so that it provides gentle pressure against the head that’s sufficient to keep it in place, but gentle enough so it’s comfortable and able to be worn for long periods of time. While on the subject of sound, the Jabra Evolve2 30 features wideband audio and 28 mm drivers for great sound quality whether on calls, or listening to music.
